Staff Engineer

Raft is building a real-time data platform for the DoD, aggregating data from 750+ sensors, processing billions of events daily with millisecond latency. The Staff Engineer will build data infrastructure using streaming frameworks like Kafka, Flink, and Kafka Streams, and ETL pipelines. They will be a beacon of knowledge, making decisions on architecture and mentoring senior engineers.

Five plus years of industry experience, in-depth experience with streaming technologies (Kafka, Pinot, Flink), large-scale databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch), ETL processing, cloud-native environments, package managers (Maven, Gradle, NPM), software design patterns. Must obtain Security+ within 90 days. Minimum Secret clearance.
