Software Engineer, Network Observability (Starlink)

SpaceX is developing Starlink, the world's most advanced broadband internet system. As a Software Engineer on the Starlink Network Monitoring team, you'll design, build, and scale software that powers observability for the entire Starlink network, enabling real-time alerting and generating rich performance and reliability metrics to understand customer quality of service and track network health.

Bachelor's degree in STEM with 1+ year industry/internship experience or 3+ years professional software development experience in lieu of degree. Preferred: large-scale observability/telemetry systems, backend (Python/Go/Java), frontend (React/Angular), databases (PostgreSQL, CockroachDB), Docker/Kubernetes, streaming data platforms. Additional: ability to work extended hours and on-call.
