Staff Software Security Engineer

Anthropic's Security Engineering team safeguards AI systems. This role involves building security for large-scale AI clusters, designing network security controls, implementing infrastructure as code, threat modeling, and mentoring. The team works across multiple clouds and data centers to ensure secure development and operations.

8-15+ years software engineering experience, strong skills in Python or systems languages, experience with DevOps, cloud automation, network security engineering, Kubernetes security, threat modeling, and mentoring. Preferred: secured Kubernetes networking, interconnects, exfiltration detection, distributed training, cross-functional leadership.
