Security Engineer - Platform Security

The role is for a Security Engineer in Platform Security at QRT in New York. The engineer will design, build, and operate secure infrastructure platforms for emerging technologies, combining security expertise with engineering skills. Responsibilities include designing secure platforms, developing reusable security architectures, evaluating new technologies, automating security, applying LLMs/AI, threat modeling, and partnering with teams.

7+ years in security engineering, platform security, cloud security or infrastructure engineering. Strong experience with hybrid infrastructure (AWS), network security, IAM, least privilege, defense-in-depth. Hands-on with containers, Kubernetes, virtualization, workload security. Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), scripting (Python, Go, PowerShell), threat modeling, CI/CD security, software supply-chain security. Curious, automation-minded, high ownership, collaborative.
