Lead Software Engineer (Full Stack) - Build Reliability

SpaceX seeks a Lead Software Engineer (Full Stack) for Build Reliability to design, develop, and improve software ensuring vehicles can be built and flown reliably. The role involves streamlining manufacturing quality control, simplifying product introduction, ensuring product traceability, and optimizing rocket reusability across Falcon, Dragon, and Starship programs. The engineer will drive architectural direction, manage a team, and engage with other engineers to write reliable software.

Basic qualifications: Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering/math + 5 years professional software dev experience, or 7+ years without degree. Preferred skills: mentoring, experience in Python, C#, .NET, Go, Java, Angular, React, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, software architecture, testing, infrastructure, performance profiling. Additional requirement: ability to work extended hours and weekends, willingness to travel up to 10%. Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. citizen/permanent resident/refugee/asylee).
