About the role
As a Staff Software Engineer on the Justice & Corrections team at Axon, you will help prosecutors, public defenders, and corrections officers manage workloads by building large-scale cloud services. You will collaborate with other Staff and Senior Engineers to shape technical direction, ensure fault-tolerance, scalability, and performance. You will mentor engineers, obsess over customers, and drive projects from design to production. This role is based in Seattle with a hybrid schedule (onsite T
Requirements
15+ years experience in Cloud Software Engineering with Azure, AWS, or GCP. Expertise in building large-scale cloud services, SQL/NoSQL databases, queuing systems, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Proficient in C, C++, Python, Golang, or Java. Frontend experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular. Customer obsession, strong communication, and ability to mentor. Bachelor's degree in CS preferred.
