Senior Developer Experience Engineer, Integrations

Customer.io seeks a Senior Developer Experience Engineer for its Integrations team to build and evolve SDKs across platforms (Android, iOS, Node, Go) and developer tools. Responsibilities include leading SDK initiatives end-to-end, improving CI/CD delivery infrastructure, partnering with product and design, participating in on-call rotation, using AI agents for multi-file changes, and bringing strong customer empathy.

Expert-level competency in at least one programming language with strong software and API design fundamentals. Experience building and evolving production-quality software. Exceptional fluency with LLMs and agentic coding tools (Claude, Cursor, Codex). High autonomy in ambiguous environments. Strong written and verbal communication. Ability to work across multiple languages and stacks. Nice to have: external-facing SDKs, APIs, developer tools, CI/CD ownership, forward-deployed engineering.
