Helix AI Engineer, Backend

Figure is an AI robotics company developing autonomous general-purpose humanoid robots. We are looking for a backend engineer to build the services and infrastructure behind Figure's consumer mobile application, including auth, payments, and tooling. You will own systems end to end, from identity and billing to delivery pipelines, internal dashboards, and the cloud platform.

5+ years building production backend systems at scale. Strong distributed systems fundamentals: APIs, queues, storage, and event-driven architecture. Hands-on experience with payments, billing, or fintech infrastructure. Hands-on infrastructure experience: AWS or GCP, Terraform, containers, and CI/CD. Proficiency in Go, Python, or similar. Experience shipping systems that move real money, with high reliability. Bonus for marketplace or fintech background.
