Platform Engineer, Model Shaping

The Model Shaping team at Together AI tailors open foundation models. As a Platform Engineer, you will build foundational layers for model customization and evaluation, designing backend services and infrastructure to scale production workflows and research experiments. You will contribute to reliability, create internal tooling, build a job orchestration platform, and partner with other teams.

3+ years experience in building infrastructure or backend components of production services. Extensive experience with Linux, Kubernetes, Python or Go. Experience with infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible), monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana), CI/CD (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD). Cloud administration (AWS/GCP/Azure). Strong communication skills. Comfortable across stack. Preferred: large-scale production systems, pipeline orchestration (Kubeflow, Argo Workflows, Flyte), GPU workloads on HPC, AI
