Software Engineer, Robotics

Mercor is seeking a Software Engineer for Robotics to build reusable infrastructure for robotics data deliveries, working directly with customer engineering teams to develop pipelines, formats, and storage methods. The role involves owning processing, packaging, and delivery systems, transforming datasets to client specifications, and building automated validation techniques. Prior robotics experience not required; strong backend and data engineering fundamentals needed.

Strong backend and data engineering fundamentals in Python, Go, or Rust; experience with AWS and GCP; experience building and owning high-volume data pipelines; familiarity with large binary formats, streaming ingestion, distributed batch processing, and object storage economics; customer-facing instincts; comfort with ambiguity and iterative shipping.
