Software Engineer, Privacy & Data Governance

Figure, an AI robotics company developing autonomous humanoid robots, seeks a Software Engineer for its Security & Privacy team. The role focuses on implementing privacy-enhancing technologies, designing privacy controls, developing core privacy engineering services, collaborating with AI and engineering teams, and ensuring data protection and regulatory compliance.

Candidates need experience in privacy domains (anonymization, data retention, data governance), strong software engineering skills in C/C++, Rust, Golang, Python or similar, prior experience building APIs/microservices for data governance or privacy controls, ability to collaborate, BS in Computer Science or equivalent, and 8+ years of experience in privacy engineering or related security/software engineering role.
