Senior Software Engineer

Picogrid is building Legion, a platform connecting sensors, cameras, drones, and third-party systems for military operations. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and build backend services in Go, including REST/gRPC APIs, event-driven pipelines, and integrations with hardware and command-and-control systems like TAK. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance. 5+ years backend engineering in Go, Python, TypeScript. Strong background in APIs, distributed systems, data pipelines, real-time processing. Deep experience with PostgreSQL, S3/MinIO, geospatial tools. Strong grasp of HTTP APIs and auth models. History of working directly with customers. Demonstrated ability to operate with urgency and high standards. Preferred: exposure to DOD IL5+, Top Secret, JWICS, RMF, FedRAMP, NIST 800-53; Go in
