About the role
Onebrief builds collaboration and AI-powered workflow software for military planning. Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) create the bridge between core software capabilities and real-world mission outcomes. They deploy alongside military operators, write production-grade code, inspect APIs, debug distributed systems, and turn field workarounds into core product capabilities.
Requirements
3+ years of software engineering experience, proficiency in Python, C++, C#, TypeScript, Go, REST/gRPC APIs, databases, data modeling, microservices, cloud/edge infrastructure. Ability to parse logs, diagnose network failures. Active Secret clearance required. Willingness to travel 25-50%.
