Forward Deployed Engineer, Operations

Alternative Payments is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to build internal systems for operations, product, and sales teams. Responsibilities include developing AI data infrastructure, internal tools, dashboards, product POCs, and agentic workflows. The role is internal-facing, embedded with teams to solve real business problems, and requires end-to-end ownership of initiatives. The engineer will also review AI-assisted code from BizOps and ensure production-grade reliability.

Deep architectural knowledge. Platform/infrastructure fluency. Strong software engineering ability within a full-stack range. An AI-native operating bias. Proficiency in TypeScript, Next.js, Python, Go or Rust, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, AWS. Experience designing scalable systems. Cross-functional instincts. Bias toward business impact.
