Forward Deployed Engineer

Picogrid is a venture-backed defense technology company building infrastructure to unify sensors, autonomy, and operators. They seek a Forward Deployed Engineer to work shoulder-to-shoulder with military customers, designing and delivering end-to-end capabilities for real missions. The role combines product, engineering, and customer-facing responsibilities.

3+ years in technical customer-facing roles (Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Developer Relations) with full-stack development. Proven experience engaging with end-users and integrating with government software systems (IdAM, SIEM, CDS). Active U.S. Secret or Top Secret clearance. Experience in Golang, Python, React, hybrid environments, REST/gRPC/GraphQL/MQTT, DOD RMF/FedRAMP/NIST 800-53, low-latency video systems, tactical data standards, command-and-control platforms, DDIL environ
