About the role
Vercel is hiring a Security Software Engineer for Detection & Response to build telemetry, logging, and response systems across a multi-cloud fleet. The role involves deploying osquery and eBPF sensors, building SIEM pipeline, automating response, strengthening security stack, and participating in on-call rotation. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, New York City, or London.
Requirements
5+ years in security, infrastructure, or platform engineering; production code in a compiled language (Go or Rust) and scripting (Python or Bash); deployed agents at fleet scale (osquery or eBPF); operated AWS infrastructure with Terraform; built data/logging pipelines including SIEM and SQL.
