About the role
Samsara is seeking a Senior Threat Detection Engineer to build and operate the signals, pipelines, and tooling for threat discovery. The role involves owning the detection lifecycle, advancing detection-as-code, integrating AI-powered capabilities, and collaborating with security operations, application security, and enterprise security teams.
Requirements
6+ years in security/detection engineering or related discipline. Strong Python and SQL skills. Hands-on detection-as-code with Git/CI/CD. Deep SIEM experience. Knowledge of AWS, Linux, containers, EDR. Ability to build from scratch and lead projects. Preferred: Airflow/Databricks, LLMs, behavioral analytics, Go, Terraform, malware analysis, FedRAMP.
