About the role

MongoDB Technical Services Engineers solve complex customer issues across the MongoDB ecosystem (database, drivers, cloud, Atlas, Cloud Manager). They work with large customers on architecture, performance, recovery, security, and advocate for customer needs. After a 6-9 month ramp, schedule becomes Saturday-Wednesday 7AM-4PM EST with 20% salary uplift. Must be US Citizen for FedRAMP. Role requires systems engineering, networking, storage, coding, and database experience.

Requirements

Required: Systems engineering (Linux, networking, security, clusters), storage (NAS, SAN, SSD, caching), production database management, coding/scripting in Java, Python, Ruby, C, C++, C#, JavaScript, Node.js, Go, holistic analysis, desire to help, calm under pressure, rapid learning, collaboration. Preferred: large scale databases (RDBMS, NoSQL), authentication (LDAP, Kerberos, AD), MongoDB, git, cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), Kubernetes. Must be US Citizen.
