Senior Consulting Engineer

MongoDB Professional Services (PS) works with customers of all shapes and sizes, in all verticals, on a variety of exciting use cases, solving technically sophisticated problems, gaining cross-stack experience, working with top-notch people, networking with industry leaders, and seeing new places. The role supports customer vision, accelerates time to value, and drives adoption scenarios from building new solutions to modernizing legacy applications or migrating to cloud.

10+ years software development/consulting/support experience, competence in Java, C#, Python, Node.js (JavaScript), Ruby, or Go, database experience with MongoDB, Oracle, MS SQL Server, or PostgreSQL, familiarity with Linux diagnostics and tuning, enterprise-scale software architectures, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Must be comfortable with frequent travel (up to 15%).
