Senior Engineering Manager, Storage Execution

Manage the New York-based Storage Execution team responsible for core transactional read/write path and durability guarantees in MongoDB's OLTP engine. Lead a team of 8-10 engineers, own roadmap, handle customer escalations, and drive cross-team initiatives for storage architecture improvements. This role requires strong technical leadership and engineering management skills.

8+ years building distributed systems, 2+ years managing engineers, willingness to work East Coast hours, strong proficiency in C++/Rust/Go, deep understanding of durability/availability/performance tradeoffs, customer obsession, people development skills, comfortable leading multi-quarter initiatives. Must have experience with replication, consensus, storage engines, or transactional systems.
