About the role
The Storage Engine Team at CoreWeave builds reliable, scalable storage solutions for AI workloads. Responsibilities include designing distributed storage systems, contributing to exabyte-scale S3-compatible object storage, working with RDMA, GPU Direct Storage, NFS, FUSE, leading reliability improvements, collaborating with operations, developing metrics, analyzing telemetry, and mentoring engineers.
Requirements
Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in CS or related field, 8-10+ years in storage systems engineering, experience with object storage or distributed filesystems, storage protocols (S3, NFS), file systems like Ceph, DAOS, proficiency in Go/C/Rust, AI tools, observability tools (ClickHouse, Prometheus, Grafana), cloud-native infrastructure, Kubernetes.
