About the role
The Storage Engine Team at CoreWeave builds reliable, scalable storage solutions for AI workloads. Responsibilities include designing distributed storage systems, contributing to exabyte-scale S3-compatible object storage, optimizing performance with RDMA and GPU Direct Storage, improving reliability and observability, collaborating with operations, developing metrics dashboards, analyzing telemetry data, and mentoring engineers.
Requirements
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in CS or related field. 8–10+ years in storage systems engineering. Strong experience with object storage or distributed filesystems in production. Proficiency with storage protocols (S3, NFS) and file systems (Ceph, DAOS). Systems programming in Go, C, or Rust. Familiarity with observability tools (ClickHouse, Prometheus, Grafana). Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructure.
