About the role
The Object Storage Team at CoreWeave builds reliable, scalable storage solutions for AI workloads. Responsibilities include designing distributed storage, contributing to exabyte-scale S3-compatible object storage, working with RDMA, GPU Direct Storage, NFS, FUSE, leading reliability improvements, collaborating with operations, developing metrics, analyzing telemetry, and mentoring engineers.
Requirements
Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in CS or related, 6+ years storage systems engineering, hands-on object storage/distributed filesystems, experience with S3/NFS and Ceph/DAOS, proficiency in Go/C/Rust, AI tools, observability tools (ClickHouse, Prometheus, Grafana), cloud-native/Kubernetes. Also qualities: growth mindset, curiosity about distributed storage, expertise in data persistence, RDMA, resilient systems.
