Software Engineer 3

MongoDB is seeking a Software Engineer 3 to join the Atlas Clusters Organization, which builds MongoDB Atlas, a database as a service offering. The role involves developing software to interface with AWS, Azure, and GCP to ensure security, durability, availability, and performance. The Atlas Clusters Security team creates a cloud database security experience, developing systems for cluster networking, data encryption, and database authentication for mission-critical applications.

Has at least 3 years of professional software development experience. Skilled at writing large-scale, distributed backend systems in a compiled language (Java, Go, etc.). Comfortable working across the stack of a modern web application (e.g. React, TypeScript). Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP). Has led the launch of a new feature and maintained it in production. Eager to solve tough problems. Excellent communication skills. Curious, collaborative, and motivated
