Software Engineer, Software Updates

We are looking for a skilled engineer to help build and maintain release and OTA update infrastructure. Our team, Fleet Connectivity, builds the infrastructure to connect and update Nuro's fleets. Our engineers work on the tech stack across the cloud and robots to build reliable, efficient systems for network connectivity, telemetry, and software updates, which is critical to the advancement and scale up of our AV vision.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field. 2+ years of industry experience with large-scale distributed systems. Strong proficiency in Go or C++. Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and Bash scripting. Ability to turn high-level requirements into a detailed, cohesive system design. Experience with data structures, algorithms, and software design optimized for large-scale distributed systems.
