About the role

Infrastructure Software Engineer responsible for building and managing large-scale backend systems for Dropbox's platform. Handle metadata for hundreds of billions of files, petabytes of user data, and millions of concurrent connections. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance performance, reliability, and security. On-call work may be necessary.

Requirements

BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years software development. Experience building and managing large-scale, multi-threaded, geographically distributed backend systems. Proficient in Python, Go, C/C++, or Java. Experience with OS internals, filesystems, databases, networks, compilers. Familiarity with Semaphores and Mutexes.
