Software Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure and Observability

Nuro is seeking a Software Engineer for Cloud Infrastructure and Observability to join their Infrastructure team. The role involves building infrastructure-as-code, automating deployments to Kubernetes clusters, creating observability solutions, and improving developer experience and reliability. The candidate should have a startup mindset, excellent communication, and skills in Python/Go, cloud, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and observability tools.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or closely related field or 3+ years of equivalent experience. Experience with Python or Go, public cloud environments, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, observability tools, and building/scaling production systems. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment. Bonus: cloud/hybrid networking, software architecture, large distributed applications, and observability system design.
