About the role
Anthropic is hiring a Software Engineer for its Sandboxing team to build and operate the isolation layer that runs untrusted, model-generated code and agent workloads. The role involves improving sandbox performance, strengthening isolation, and building monitoring tools, working with research and product teams.
Requirements
Required: software engineering experience in Linux systems programming or kernel development, strong programming in Rust, C, C++, or Go, knowledge of virtualization/container isolation (KVM, QEMU, Firecracker, gVisor, runc), Linux resource management (namespaces, cgroups), system-level profiling. Preferred: experience with multi-tenant sandbox, microVMs, eBPF, K8s, cloud, network isolation, AI agents, GPU virtualization, technical lead.
