About the role

Lead and build Kong's Managed Gateways SRE team in Seattle, ensuring 99.99%+ uptime. Hands-on in early stages, architect cloud-native systems with Kubernetes, Golang, and major cloud providers. Own operational lifecycle, drive automation, define SLOs, collaborate cross-functionally.

Requirements

Proven experience leading SRE/DevOps teams, deep expertise in distributed systems on AWS/Azure/GCP, extensive Kubernetes and container orchestration, proficiency in Golang, strong observability principles, incident management, familiarity with API gateways.
