Senior Software Engineer, Platform

Senior Software Engineer to join Platform Engineering team, responsible for designing, building, testing, and deploying production infrastructure for Astro, Observe, and IDE products. Work on high-scale PaaS environment, collaborate across company, own CI/CD, and contribute to platform reliability practices.

Strong experience in non-abstract systems design, proficiency in Python, Golang, and Kubernetes (CKA or equivalent). Experience with observability (SLI/SLO), communication skills, passion for reliability, ability to estimate scope, software development best practices, proactive approach. Preferred: experience with SaaS/PaaS across multiple cloud providers, tech stack (CircleCI, Chronosphere, etc.), AWS/GCP/Azure, on-call rotation, Apache Airflow.
