Director, Software Engineering Compute

Lead the engineering organization that builds and operates the compute platform, evolving it into a scalable, efficient, and AI-driven compute model spanning private and public cloud. Responsibilities include leading the compute engineering team, owning the roadmap for the compute scheduler, defining compute-at-scale model, capacity management, performance engineering, applying AI/ML, and driving engineering excellence.

15+ years of software engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 5+ years of people management experience; experience building or operating large-scale schedulers like Kubernetes; deep expertise in distributed systems and capacity planning; hands-on ML in production; performance engineering across hybrid/multi-cloud; fluency in multiple programming languages; strong leadership and communication skills.
