About the role
Anthropic seeks a Staff+ Software Engineer to own and operate the Kubernetes platform for its large AI compute fleet spanning multiple cloud providers. Responsibilities include extending the scheduler for topology-sensitive ML workloads, scaling the control plane (apiserver, etcd), building core cluster services, and partnering with research teams.
Requirements
Significant software engineering experience building production distributed systems, proficiency in Go, Python, Rust, or C++, deep Kubernetes experience with scheduler, controllers, or operating large clusters, ability to debug complex issues across stack, and strong communication skills.
