About the role
AlphaSense is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer to join the Core Cloud Platform team. The role involves owning and evolving the cloud and Kubernetes-based platform, ensuring scalability and performance. The engineer will collaborate with engineering leaders, set architectural roadmap, and embrace AI tooling. The team manages AWS infrastructure, networking, storage, and Kubernetes clusters for over 400 engineers.
Requirements
Extremely experienced in Kubernetes, AWS, containerization, networking, service meshes. Proficiency in Python and Golang. Strong operational and troubleshooting skills. Ability to lead projects and influence technical roadmaps. Nice-to-have: management of large Kubernetes fleets, Hashicorp Vault, GCP, Azure.
