Senior/Staff Platform Engineer

CodeRabbit is hiring its founding Platform Engineer to own the compute, orchestration, and infrastructure layer across a multi-region GCP footprint. This is a 0-to-1 role: building the platform function from scratch, setting technical direction, and making early architectural decisions that are expensive to unwind later. The role requires deep Kubernetes expertise, large-scale distributed systems experience, and strong cloud background on GCP or AWS.

7+ years in Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or SRE. Deep hands-on Kubernetes experience with control plane, operators, controllers. Experience building and running large-scale distributed systems. Strong cloud compute on GCP or AWS. Proficiency in Docker and container runtime internals. Technical skills: CRDs, operators, Terraform, GCP (GKE, Cloud Run), Node.js/TypeScript or Go, observability (Datadog, Prometheus), Linux internals, networking.
