About the role

CodeRabbit is hiring its founding Platform Engineer to own the compute, orchestration, and infrastructure layer across a multi-region GCP footprint. This is a 0-to-1 role: building the platform function from the ground up, setting technical direction, and making early architectural calls that are expensive to unwind later. The systems must be right, not just fast, because everything else depends on them.

Requirements

7+ years in Platform, Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering. Deep hands-on Kubernetes experience beyond running workloads: control plane configuration, writing operators/controllers, tuning schedulers, debugging at runtime level. Strong cloud compute background on GCP or AWS. Proficiency in Docker and container runtime internals. Multiple technical skills including CRDs, Terraform, distributed systems, observability tools, and programming in Node.js/TypeScript or Go.
