Staff / Senior Software Engineer, Security Fusion Platform

Build and own the Security Fusion Platform for physical security signals across Anthropic's data center footprint. Design event bus, normalized schema, correlation, alerting, classification and analytics pipelines (computer vision, multi-sensor fusion), analyst surfaces (queue, dashboards, video wall), audit evidence, metrics, and deployment across sites. Work with vendors, set requirements. Use Claude throughout. Involves regular travel and on-call.

Required: Built and run event-driven backend systems in production; proficient in Python, Go, or Rust; experience with Kafka or similar; owned a system end to end; integrated with external systems; directed vendor work; design for failure; build tools for operators under pressure. Preferred: Experience with security operations platform, ML/computer vision inference pipelines, PSIM/VMS integration, audit evidence, AI-assisted development.
