About the role
Axon Records seeks a Staff Full Stack Software Engineer to lead architecture design, mentor engineers, and build scalable cloud-based systems for a records management system that modernizes law enforcement data capture and report writing. Responsibilities include engineering design reviews, cross-team collaboration, improving engineering processes, and building high-availability services with open source technologies.
Requirements
8+ years full stack software engineering, bachelor's in CS or equivalent. Experience building complex software in teams, designing high-availability scalable cloud systems, writing clean backend microservice code, driving technical solutions across teams. Backend in Go/Java/Scala, frontend in Javascript+Typescript/React, strong SQL database skills. Interest in setting technical direction for a growing global engineering team.
