Lead Software Engineer

Pragmatike is recruiting a Lead Software Engineer for a fast-growing technology company. The role combines technical leadership, architecture, mentorship, and hands-on development. Responsibilities include leading engineering projects, designing systems using TypeScript, Python, and Go, making technical decisions, mentoring senior engineers, and improving reliability and scalability. The role is on-site in San Francisco.

8+ years of software engineering experience, strong hands-on programming with TypeScript, Python, and/or Go, proven technical leadership, system design skills, mentoring experience, excellent communication, and willingness to work on-site in San Francisco. Preferred: Kubernetes, cloud, distributed systems, AI/ML infrastructure, startup/scale-up experience.
