Staff Software Engineer

Pragmatike is recruiting a Staff Software Engineer for a fast-growing technology company. The role involves leading high-impact technical initiatives, designing scalable systems, shaping engineering architecture, solving complex problems, and turning ambiguous requirements into reliable production systems. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders. Mentor senior engineers and participate in technical strategy.

7+ years of professional software engineering experience. Strong experience with TypeScript, Python, Go, or combination. Proven experience designing and operating production systems at scale. Strong distributed systems and system design knowledge. Experience leading technical projects across multiple teams. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Strong ownership and ability to operate independently. Willingness to work on-site in San Francisco.
