Backend Software Engineer

We are seeking a Backend Software Engineer to design, build, and operate reliable services. Responsibilities include building production backend services using TypeScript, Python, and Go, designing scalable APIs and distributed services, developing data processing and asynchronous workflows, improving system performance, reliability, and scalability, implementing monitoring and observability, writing high-quality code, and collaborating with product and engineering teams. This is an on-site role

4+ years of backend software engineering experience. Strong experience with TypeScript, Python, or Go. Experience building production APIs and backend services. Strong understanding of databases and data modeling. Familiarity with distributed systems and asynchronous processing. Strong testing and software engineering practices. Excellent problem-solving skills. Willingness to work on-site in San Francisco. Nice-to-haves: Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, event-driven architecture, microservices
