Staff Software Engineer, Auth/Accounts

Coalition is the world's first Active Insurance provider, combining insurance coverage and cybersecurity tools. The Auth/Accounts team builds identity, authentication, authorization, and account capabilities. As a Staff Software Engineer, you will provide technical leadership across a complex multi-service domain, turning ambiguous business and security challenges into clear technical architecture, leading cross-team initiatives, and raising operating standards.

Staff-Level Leadership with proven cross-team architecture experience. Expertise in backend fundamentals: API design, distributed systems, data modeling, production operations. Experience with high-risk domains where security and correctness are paramount. Strong communication and mentorship skills. Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools into engineering work, including code exploration, design analysis, test generation, debugging, and documentation.
