Lead Software Engineer, Application Software (Finance)

The finance software team builds mission-critical applications for SpaceX's financial operations. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will manage a team, own system roadmap, provide technical leadership, and develop reliable software systems. You will collaborate with finance stakeholders and partner teams to ensure data flows and controls. Aerospace experience not required.

Basic: Bachelor's in CS/engineering/math/science + 3+ years software dev OR 6+ years without degree; 1+ years OOP; 1+ years leading teams. Preferred: Python, C#, .NET, Go, Java; Angular/React; PostgreSQL/SQL Server; 4+ years SPAs; ERP/financial systems; testing/infrastructure; financial data integrity; domain expertise in financial systems/ERP/integrations; mentoring; collaboration. Additional: extended hours/weekends, travel.
