Senior Staff Software Engineer – Compute Engineering

Design and evolve compute scheduler and resource-management systems, build capacity models and forecasts, establish performance and scale testing, apply AI/ML to forecasting and optimization, write and maintain declarative infrastructure, partner with cross-functional teams, own production reliability and incident response, and mentor engineers. This role is for Senior Staff or Principal level.

12+ years experience in software engineering, cloud, or infrastructure; deep experience in multi-tenant cloud-native SaaS; experience designing large-scale schedulers (Kubernetes, Slurm); strong programming in Go, Python, or Java; experience with capacity planning, performance engineering; hands-on ML in production; infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible); virtualization and cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP); networking knowledge; ability to work independently and influence across teams; clear and a
