About the role
Sift is the data infrastructure platform for hardware engineering teams. As a Software Engineer, Infrastructure, you will design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions, collaborate with software engineers, implement monitoring and alerting, automate deployments, and evolve backend architecture for cloud and on-premise deployments. You'll work on improving reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
Requirements
3+ years of relevant distributed systems experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, and a tech stack including Go, Java, React, TypeScript, Kafka, Flink, Terraform/CDK. Must be pragmatic, solution-oriented, and able to work in early-stage startup environment. U.S. citizenship required.
