Infrastructure Engineer

Arena Intelligence is the open platform for evaluating how AI models perform in the real world, trusted by researchers, developers, and enterprises. We are building API-based services for enterprise customers, providing customized ML products. This founding role on the developer/enterprise team involves owning core infrastructure to turn research advantage into enterprise products, working directly with founders and early customers to define what we build and how we build it.

4+ years of backend engineering experience with distributed systems, infrastructure, or developer-facing platforms. Strong proficiency in Go and/or Rust, building high-throughput APIs or proxy/gateway systems. Experience with LLM provider APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) and challenges like streaming, token management, rate limits. Solid cloud infrastructure skills with AWS or GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, Postgres, Redis. Product-oriented mindset and comfort with ambiguity in a startup.
