Staff+ Software Engineer, Experimentation

Anthropic's Infrastructure organization seeks a Staff+ Software Engineer to own the technical strategy and roadmap for configuration and experimentation infrastructure, including feature flagging, dynamic configuration, and A/B testing platforms. The role involves designing scalable distributed systems, defining standards, and supporting engineers and researchers to safely ship changes and run experiments.

Deep experience with configuration management, feature flagging, and/or experimentation platforms at scale. Strong proficiency in Python, Rust, and/or Go. Obsession with developer productivity. Experience with container orchestration and infrastructure at scale. 15+ years of engineering experience and 3+ years leading large projects preferred. Experience with platforms like LaunchDarkly, Statsig, etc.
