Senior Production Software Engineer

Optiver is seeking a Senior Production Software Engineer to build infrastructure and automate trading production environment. Responsibilities include designing deployment pipelines, building monitoring, developing tooling, collaborating with stakeholders, mentoring junior engineers, and owning production sub-systems end-to-end. The role focuses on scaling change, increasing robustness, and reducing overhead to enable faster innovation cycle.

Bachelor's degree in CS or related field. Strong programming in Python (Golang/Rust beneficial). Understanding of full tech stack: server hardware, networking, Linux, databases, web servers. Experience with CI/CD, metrics/observability platforms, and technologies like Ansible, Django, FastAPI, Flask, Jenkins, Hashicorp Vault, Docker/Podman, Kubernetes. Production management experience beneficial. Improvement mindset and critical eye for operational challenges including security.
