Software Engineer, Developer Experience (AI Infrastructure

Sift is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build and own developer infrastructure and testing environments for hardware engineering teams. The role involves designing systems for on-demand production-like environments, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, enabling AI coding agents to test autonomously, and partnering with engineering teams to improve velocity and quality. Sift processes high-volume telemetry from complex hardware systems.

6+ years of professional software engineering experience with significant experience in developer infrastructure, test infrastructure, or platform engineering. Deep hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and programming in Go or Python. Ability to balance performance, fidelity, reliability, and cost. Strong collaboration skills and a developer-focused mindset.
