Staff Software Engineer

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer for our Users Vertical. This role involves designing and scaling the onboarding funnel, building core user management services, orchestrating resilient integrations with third-party vendors, defining user event architecture, setting development standards, and mentoring engineers. The ideal candidate has experience as a Staff or Principal Engineer with strong backend skills in Node.js/NestJS, systems design, asynchronous messaging, and third-party KYC,

Proven experience as a Staff or Principal Engineer in distributed systems. Advanced proficiency in Node.js and NestJS (TypeScript) or equivalent (Rust/Go). Deep knowledge of architectural patterns (Hexagonal, DDD, CQRS), REST/gRPC, PostgreSQL, Redis. Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka). Experience integrating third-party services (KYC, biometrics) with fallback patterns. Hands-on, pragmatic builder mentality. Spanish and English proficiency.
