Software Engineer

Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, automating how over $100B in spend flows through 50,000+ companies. As a backend engineer on the core experience team, you will design and scale backend systems for spend controls, approval workflows, and card transactions at massive scale. You will collaborate cross-functionally, integrate with Ramp's AI platform for spend policy enforcement and anomaly detection, and own projects end-to-end from architecture to deployment.

Software engineering experience with backend focus, strong API design skills, proficiency in Python, Go, or TypeScript, familiarity with PostgreSQL, AWS, and observability tooling. Product sense, collaborative communication. Nice-to-have: fintech/payments experience, AI/rule-based automation, ERP integration, security/compliance, distributed systems.
