Backend Software Engineer - Codex for Finance

We are looking for backend engineers to build systems that make advanced AI useful in financial services. You will design and build backend systems for AI-native financial workflows, ingest and serve financial data, develop integrations with data providers and enterprise systems, improve reliability and latency, and work directly with financial institutions to understand needs and deploy products.

5+ years of professional software engineering experience building production backend systems. Proficiency in Python, Go, Rust, or TypeScript. Experience with data-intensive applications, search/retrieval systems, or complex integrations. Strong product instincts and ability to move from ambiguous problem to solution. Comfort working across stack. High bar for reliability, security, privacy. Interest in AI applied to professional work. Startup or founding experience a plus.
