Software Engineer, C++ - Top Secret Clearance

Design, develop, and test key aspects of an in-house solution for analysis, simulation, and prototyping of software for all SpaceX flight systems. Full ownership of new features in a scalable high-performance application used to control and test flight systems. Work across engineering groups to build high-assurance systems accelerating cutting-edge software and hardware development.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, or engineering; 1+ years of software development in modern C++. Preferred: experience with data streaming, serialization formats (JSON, YAML, XML, Protobuf), Python/Java/Go, Docker/Kubernetes, databases (Postgres, MySQL, Oracle), debugging, performance optimization, unit testing, and active Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain. Must obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance and work extended hours when needed.
