About the role
SpaceX is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in DevOps for the Starlink team. The engineer will build tools and processes for fast development and deployment, manage infrastructure, and ensure software validation and monitoring. The role involves hands-on integration and troubleshooting across the Starlink stack to support high developer velocity.
Requirements
Requires Bachelor's in CS/engineering/math/STEM and 5+ years software engineering (or 7+ years without degree), proficiency in Python, Go, or C++. Preferred experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and large-scale systems. Must be a US person due to ITAR regulations. Ability to work extended hours as needed.
